2010 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 
       Membership Drive:    Saturday, May 29 from 8:30-10:00 AM at the Green Lake Calvary Church Youth Center (old sanctuary).  Coffee, juice and donuts provided.  Come and join the Association for $50, receive the 2010 a-Round Green Lake Association directory and meet old and new friends.

         Boating Safety Class:    Saturday, June 5 from 8 am - 2 pm at the Green Lake Calvary Church gym.  Bring a pencil, drink and sack lunch--a snack will be provided by the Association.  The course is free and no advanced registration is required.  Those already or who will be turning age 12 this summer are encouraged to attend along with adults.  

        Area Clean-Up:    Saturday, June 5 from 9 am - Noon.  Young people from Friendship Christian Reformed Church will be going around the lake to collect landfill/trash items as a fund raiser for a summer missions trip.  Please have your items to the road ready for pick-up by 9 am and make your generous donation of cash or check directly to Friendship CRC.

For Sale:  Community Garage Sale: Saturday, June 5 from 8am - 2pm.  The Association will advertise this event (no fee to participate) so tell  your friends to come to our area for bargains galore!  Put those items you no longer need up for sale...and have fun garage sailing!   

           Fireworks:    Saturday, July 3 at dark shot off from the Reus beach in the big lake.  If observing by boat please stay at least 500' off shore to allow for a fireworks safety zone.  

          Pancake Breakfast:    Saturday, July 3 from 8 - 10 AM at the Green Lake Fire Department building.  Adults $3.00, Kids 12 & under $1.00 with extra donations encouraged and all proceeds go to help cover the cost of the fireworks display.  PLEASE bring a canned good item(s) to be given to Project Hope--the emergency food pantry that serves our area. 

            Land Parade:    Saturday, July 3 at Noon.  Line up begins at 11:30 in the West parking lot of Green Lake Calvary church.  The parade will proceed East down 145th Ave (Kalamazoo Ave), to South Shore Dr., then to Round Lake Dr., and back to Kalamazoo Ave ending at the Fire Department building which will have an Open House after the parade with activities, demonstrations, etc.

            Ice Cream Social & Association Annual Meeting:    Thursday, August 19 at 7:30 PM at the Green Lake Calvary Church Youth Center.  Come and enjoy great ice cream sundaes with your neighbors and here what is up with the Association etc.  Be in the know!
